PERSONAL TRAINER FOR ADULTS AND ATHLETES IN GENEVA AND VEYRIER

CORE BELIEFS
First of all, let’s define Athletic Prime: The term “Athletic Prime” can be defined as the peak state of athleticism an individual attains in a lifetime.
- As we age, the amplitude of this “peak” may diminish, but the desire to continually pursue this “peak state” should not diminish. This is the first core belief of Athletic Prime.
- The second belief is that all attributes of athleticism are built upon a solid base of strength and mobility.
- Third, our habits with nutrition and recovery play as much a role in overall athleticism as does the exercise program that we follow.
- Finally, Athletic Prime's program is structured in the form of a "portfolio" which will help you create a comprehensive and balanced level of athleticism, fitness and health.

AP PORTFOLIO
Achieve a level of athleticism and fitness that is comprehensive and balanced by developing your Athletic Prime Portfolio.
Improve on classic athletic benchmarks, such as speed, power, agility, strength and mobility.
Include specific physical requirements from activities and sports of personal interest to create your own “signature portfolio”.
STRENGTH &
MOBILITY
Beginning with a comprehensive postural and movement assessment, the strength and mobility component of the program will establish a baseline from which to measure all future athletic improvements.
In addition to enhancing athletic performance, a solid foundation of strength and mobility is a good hedge against injuries.
SPEED &
POWER
Once a solid foundation of strength and mobility is built, working to enhance speed, power and agility is where “the rubber meets the road” in terms of athleticism.
You will gain an ability to run faster and jump higher and be more reactive in your chosen sports or activities.
NUTRITION &
RECOVERY
There are 168 hours (24 hours x 7 days😊) in a week to potentially work on your health, fitness and athleticism. Physical training, while impactful, only account for a few of these hours. This leaves 160 some odd hours to account for.
What you do in these “non-training” hours has as much, if not more, impact on your health, fitness and athleticism than the time you spend training.
In this “160 hour plan”😉, you will receive guidance on how best to manage your “non training time” in order to maximise your physical performance. Nutrition, physical and mental preparation, recovery techniques, training equipment considerations and time management are all fair game topics.
PERSONAL
TRAINING
- Develop your “Athletic Prime Portfolio” in a personal training setting.
- Improve your athleticism, physical fitness and health according to your ability.
- Work at a pace and in a sequence that you are comfortable with.
- Receive exercise selection suitable for you.
CARLOS
FOUNDER
I’m Carlos Cuadras and I founded Athletic Prime SARL in 2010 in Geneva, Switzerland. After working as a first division college strength and conditioning coach, I wanted to create a company that reflected my experience. My company’s main objective is to provide this experience to aspiring high level athletes and those who want to be fit like an athlete.
I believe that a recreational athlete and general fitness enthusiast can greatly benefit from the same quality fitness regime as a collegiate athlete, scaled and adapted to the ability of the individual.
I began my athletic journey early in life as an American football and basketball player. I came to realize early on, the beneficial influence that strength and conditioning had on my gametime performance.
Originally from Miami Beach, Florida, I took the trip “across the pond” to Geneva, Switzerland in 2009 on a journey of the heart to be with a special person I now call my wife. I was not sure how Swiss life would be, but things have worked out.😊.
Since arriving in Geneva, I have been part of an American Football team (Geneva Seahawks) as a player and coach. I played on a basketball team (Caterpillar) and was a CrossFit affiliate (CrossFit Geneva). Now thanks to my 11 year old son, I’m learning to become a soccer player too😳 … oh excuse me… “football player” 😁.
When I was younger I was very focused on trying to be the “the best” athlete. Now as the years go by, I have come to appreciate being “the best athlete I can be right now”. Believe me that is still saying something.
I hope, one day soon, I have a chance to meet you and serve you in your efforts to do the same.
